The Genie Transportation Services LLC
1. Introduction
Welcome to The Genie Transportation Services LLC (“we”, “our”, “us”). By booking and using our transportation services (“Services”), you (“you,” “your,” “customer,” or “passenger”) agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read these Terms carefully before making any reservations or using our Services. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use our Services.
2. Reservation and Payment
2.1. Booking
All reservations must be made in advance through our website, by phone, or via email. A booking confirmation will be issued only after payment is received. We reserve the right to refuse or decline any booking at our discretion.
2.2. Payment
Payment is required in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment via credit card and other methods as made available. Your reservation is not confirmed until payment has cleared.
2.3. Cancellation Policy
Refund with Processing Fee: If you cancel your reservation more than 48 hours before the scheduled service, you will receive a refund minus a 5% processing fee to cover credit card and administrative costs.
75% Refund: If you cancel between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled service, you will receive a 75% refund.
50% Refund: If you cancel between 6 and 24 hours before the scheduled service, you will receive a 50% refund.
No Refund: If you cancel within 6 hours of the scheduled service, no refund will be issued.
Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days, minus any applicable fees.
2.4. Waiting Time
Non-Airport Pickups: For non-airport pickups, 15 minutes of waiting time is included at no additional charge. Due to operational needs and to avoid inconveniencing other customers, we may not be able to wait beyond this 15-minute window. If extended waiting is possible and the customer requests it, additional charges of $10 per 10 minutes will apply. If we cannot wait, the driver will proceed to other scheduled pickups, and the customer will be responsible for making alternative arrangements.
Airport Pickups (Standard Wait Time)
60 minutes of wait time after the plane arrives at the gate for flights that do not require U.S. customs clearance.
75 minutes of wait time after the plane arrives at the gate for flights that do require U.S. customs clearance.
Additional waiting time will be billed at $10 for every 10 minutes above the included wait time.
Delayed Flights: We will make every reasonable attempt to accommodate customers experiencing delayed flights. However, depending on scheduling and vehicle availability, this may result in a wait until a reassigned driver can reach the customer. We are not liable for delays caused by flight changes that are outside our control.
Early Flight Arrivals: If a flight arrives earlier than scheduled, we cannot guarantee that a driver will be present immediately upon arrival. Customers may be required to wait until a driver becomes available.
Accuracy of Flight Information: Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that the flight information provided at the time of booking is accurate. Providing incorrect flight numbers, arrival times, or other details may prevent us from rescheduling or providing transportation at the exact time requested. Refunds will not be issued for missed service due to inaccurate information provided by the customer.
2.5. No-Show Policy
Failure to appear at the designated pickup location at the scheduled time constitutes a no-show and will be charged at the full fare with no refund.
3. Customer Responsibilities
Accurate Information: You must provide correct pickup/drop-off locations, flight information, and passenger details. We are not liable for delays, missed pickups, or additional costs arising from inaccurate or incomplete information.
Punctuality: Passengers must be ready at the agreed pickup time.
Behavior: Disorderly, unsafe, or unlawful conduct may result in immediate termination of service without refund. You will remain liable for any damages caused.
Compliance with Laws: Passengers must comply with all applicable traffic, safety, and conduct laws.
Vehicle Condition: Customers must leave the vehicle in the same condition in which they entered it. A cleaning fee of up to $500 may be charged if a passenger soils, stains, or otherwise creates a mess in the vehicle.
Food & Beverage Restrictions: The consumption of beverages is not permitted inside the vehicle except for bottled water. Messy or strong-smelling foods may not be consumed inside the vehicle.
4. Vehicle Usage and Limitations
Vehicle Condition: Vehicles are inspected and maintained regularly. Customers must promptly report issues during service. Failure to do so waives claims related to vehicle condition.
Alcohol/Drugs: Prohibited in vehicles. Violation may result in immediate termination of service.
Damage to Property: Customers are responsible for the full cost of cleaning, repair, or replacement of damage caused to vehicles or property.
Lost/Stolen Items: We are not responsible for personal belongings left in vehicles. Found items will be held for a maximum of 7 days before disposal.
5. Safety and Liability
Seat Belts & Child Safety: Passengers must wear seat belts at all times. Parents and guardians are solely responsible for ensuring that all children are properly secured in accordance with state and federal laws.
Car Seats and Booster Seats: Upon request, we will provide car seats and/or booster seats as a courtesy, and in some cases, a vehicle may arrive with these items already installed. However, it is the exclusive responsibility of the parent or guardian to:
Confirm that the seat or booster is properly installed and secured before use.
Ensure that the child is properly positioned and secured in the seat or booster.
Follow all manufacturer and legal requirements for car seat and booster use.
We do not guarantee installation accuracy and we assume no responsibility or liability whatsoever for injury, harm, or damages resulting from improper installation, use, or failure to secure a child.
Limitation of Safety Liability: We are not responsible for injuries resulting from passenger negligence, including refusal to wear seatbelts, improper use of child restraints, or failure to follow driver instructions.
Assumption of Risk: By using our Services, you acknowledge the inherent risks of road travel and agree that you assume full responsibility for your own safety, the safety of your dependents, and your belongings.
6. Pricing and Fees
Prices are determined at booking and may vary due to distance, duration, peak hours, or special requirements.
Additional charges may apply for tolls, parking, cleaning fees, damages, waiting times, extra stops, or special requests.
All prices are subject to taxes and fees as required by law.
7. Amendments and Service Changes
Booking Changes: Must be requested at least 24 hours in advance. Availability is not guaranteed.
Service Interruptions: We reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations in case of emergencies, vehicle breakdowns, or other unforeseen events. Remedies are limited to refund or rescheduling.
8. Privacy Policy
We collect and store personal information only as necessary to provide Services. By using our Services, you consent to such use. Data will not be sold but may be disclosed when required by law or operational necessity (e.g., subcontractors, payment processors).
9. Audio/Video Recording and GPS Tracking
Surveillance Devices: For safety, security, and operational purposes, all vehicles operated by The Genie Transportation Services LLC are equipped with video recording devices, audio recording devices, and GPS tracking systems.
Purpose: These systems are used for:
a) monitoring passenger and driver safety,
b) ensuring compliance with company policies and state/federal law,
c) location tracking for dispatch, scheduling, and security, and
d) gathering evidence in the case of disputes, accidents, or investigations.Audio Recording Consent (Florida Requirement): Florida is a two-party (all-party) consent state. By using our Services, you expressly acknowledge and consent to audio recording while in our vehicles. If you do not consent, you must notify us prior to booking, and alternative arrangements may be considered.
GPS Tracking / Location Monitoring: In compliance with Florida Statute § 934.425, installing or using a tracking device without consent is prohibited. By booking and using our Services, you expressly consent to GPS tracking of the vehicle for safety, operational, and security purposes.
Disclosure and Signage: Clear disclosure that audio/video recording and GPS tracking are in use is provided at booking and via signage in our vehicles.
Privacy & Data Use: All recordings and GPS data are stored securely, used only for operational, safety, or legal purposes, and will not be disclosed to third parties unless required by law or in connection with resolving a dispute.
No Guarantee of Privacy Beyond Legal Requirements: You acknowledge that while we take steps to protect your privacy, there is no absolute guarantee of privacy beyond what is required under applicable law.
10. Grocery Stops
Authorized Location Only: Grocery stops are available only at Publix located at 9930 Universal Blvd, Orlando, FL.
Fee and Duration: The cost for a grocery stop is $20, which includes up to 20 minutes of waiting time.
Additional Time: Any stop exceeding 20 minutes will be billed at $10 for every 10 minutes or portion thereof, rounded up.
Unscheduled Stops: Grocery stops at other locations or not prearranged at the time of booking will not be accommodated.
Operational Limitations: If there are flight delays, luggage delays, or other unexpected delays, the grocery stop may be removed or canceled for operational purposes to avoid impacting other scheduled customers. If removed for these reasons, no refund or credit will be issued.
11. Stroller Rentals
Advance Reservation: Stroller rentals must be requested at the time of booking transportation services. Availability is limited and cannot be guaranteed for last-minute requests.
Included Items: Each stroller rental includes a stroller (single or double Baby Jogger), a parent console, a rain cover, a custom name sign, and a case of water. All items are considered part of the rental package and must be returned in the same condition they were received.
Proper Use: Customers must ensure strollers and accessories are used only for their intended purposes, safely and appropriately. We assume no responsibility for injuries, accidents, or damages caused by:
exceeding manufacturer weight or seating capacity,
use on unsuitable terrain, including stairs, escalators, or steep inclines,
use in severe weather conditions,
modifications or unauthorized accessories.
Limitations of Liability: We are not liable for injuries, accidents, damages, delays, or losses arising from use, misuse, malfunction, or third-party interference. The customer assumes full responsibility for supervision and proper use.
Loss, Theft, or Damage:
Customers are responsible for the full replacement cost of lost, stolen, or damaged strollers or accessories.
If a valid police or theme park incident report is provided within 24 hours, a damage waiver applies with a $50 deductible per incident.
If no proper report is provided, the customer is fully responsible for all costs.
Return Condition: Must be clean and functional. Excessive cleaning may result in a fee of up to $100.
Waiver of Claims: By accepting a stroller rental, you agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless The Genie Transportation Services LLC from all claims related to stroller use.
12. Independent Contractors
Outsourcing of Services: At times, we may outsource transportation services to third-party independent contractors. These contractors are not employees, agents, or representatives of The Genie Transportation Services LLC.
No Agency Relationship: The use of independent contractors does not create any partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship.
Limitations of Liability:
We are not liable for acts, errors, omissions, negligence, misconduct, or failures of independent contractors.
We do not warrant or guarantee the performance, behavior, or service quality of independent contractors beyond minimum standards.
Claims arising directly from contractor actions must be pursued against the contractor.
Insurance Coverage: Contractors must maintain valid licenses, permits, and insurance. We are not responsible for coverage adequacy.
Customer Acknowledgment: By booking, you accept that services may be provided by contractors and agree The Genie Transportation Services LLC will not be liable for their actions or omissions.
13. Limitation of Liability and Indemnification
Exclusions: We are not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, including lost profits, time, or opportunities.
Cap on Liability: Our liability is strictly limited to the amount paid for the specific service in dispute.
Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Genie Transportation Services LLC, its employees, contractors, and affiliates against all claims, damages, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising from your use of Services, your conduct, or your breach of these Terms.
Force Majeure: We are not responsible for service failures due to events outside our control (e.g., weather, road closures, strikes, natural disasters, mechanical failures).
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Orange County, Florida. You consent to this jurisdiction and waive objections regarding venue.
15. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

17. Assumption of Risk & Release of Claims
Inherent Risks: By booking and using our Services, you acknowledge that transportation services, stroller rentals, and related activities inherently involve certain risks, including but not limited to delays, traffic conditions, weather events, mechanical issues, third-party actions, and the normal risks associated with travel. You voluntarily assume all such risks.
Customer Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your own safety, the safety of your dependents, and safeguarding personal belongings.
Release of Claims: To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release, waive, and discharge The Genie Transportation Services LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and agents from any claims, demands, or damages arising from your use of our Services, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
No Warranty: Services are provided “as-is” without express or implied warranties. We disclaim liability for indirect or consequential damages.
Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Genie Transportation Services LLC against claims or expenses brought by third parties arising from your actions or breach of these Terms.
Survival of Terms: These provisions survive completion of Services and remain binding.
